1Mago Stronghold is the highest great stronghold on Earth.
2Venerating and guarding the Heavenly Emblem, it succeeds the Former Heaven.
3There are four Heavenly Beings in the four directions of the Stronghold who build pipes and tune music.
4The first is called the Hwanggung (Yellow Gung), the second the Baekso (White So), the third the Cheonggung (Blue Gung), and the last the Heukso (Black So).
5The mother of two Gungs is Gunghui (Gung Maiden) and the mother of two Sos is Sohui (So Maiden).
6Gunghui and Sohui are the daughters of Mago.
7Emerged in Jimse (Mago’s World), Mago has no emotion of pleasure or resentment.
8Rendering the Former Heaven male and the Latter Heaven female, S/HE gives birth to Gunghui and Sohui without a spouse.
9Gunghui and Sohui also, without spouses but by receiving the essence, each bear two Heavenly Beings and two Heavenly Daughters.
10Hence, they are the Four Heavenly Beings and the Four Heavenly Daughters.
