Budo and the Great Unity

Imgeom returned and chose the land to build Budo (the Emblem Capital City), 2which was the northeast of the magnetic direction.

It was the region wherein two and six mutually connected to embrace the core.

Also it was the land wherein four and eight symbiotically birthing to bear fruits.

Bright mountains and majestic rivers stretched ten thousand li.

Seas and lands were conjoined for travel, running into ten directions.

That is, it was the region wherein nine and one were ceaselessly ending and beginning.

The spiritual herb of the three-branched root, the auspicious fruit of five-tipped leaves, the precious jade of the seven-shaded color, 9were growing in the heart of Geumgang (the Unbreakable), 10and abound throughout all regions.

It was the tender and blessed land wherein the northerly magnetic essence of one, three, five, and seven accumulated to shape things.

Soon, the Altar of the Heavenly Emblem was constructed at the Bright Land of Mt. Taebaek (Great Resplendence). 13And the Supportive Altars were built in four directions.

Each of the Supportive Altars was connected through the three-branched channels. 15The channels were placed one thousand li apart.

At the left and the right ends of each channel, custom offices were established. 17Such structures were taken from the Original Stronghold of Mago.

In the vacant regions of the low land, city districts were planned.

In the surroundings of the Three Seas, the submerged lakes were created.

Four river ports and four sea harbors were connected every ten thousand li 21and encircled the east and the west.

Between the ports and the harbors, six villages were constructed. 23All tribes resided in them.

As Budo was finally completed, 25it was salvific, splendid, bright, and illuminant, 26enough to realize the Great Unity of the Four Seas.

It was the vital pulse of all tribes.
