Terrestrial Genesis and Calendric Numbers
As the cycle of Latter Heaven unfolded, Yulryeo (Rhythms and Tones) revived again.
Soon Hyangsang (Resonance Phenomenon) was formed. And resonance and music intermixed.
Mago drew the Great Sildal Stronghold and dropped it into the region of the Heavenly Water.
Gi (airy vital force) of the Great Sildal Stronghold ascended and formed an encompassing membrane above the Water Cloud.
The body of Sildal spread out evenly and became a land amidst the frozen water.
The land and the sea lay in tandem. Mountains and rivers stretched far.
Then, the region of the Heavenly Water turned into land and overlapped with it.
The water and the land turned from top to bottom and spun in rotation and revolution.
Finally Calendric Numbers commenced.
Gi, fire, water, and earth were mutually enhanced in harmonious interaction.
Light demarcated day and night as well as fourfold time.
Plants, trees, birds, and animals were raised abundantly.
There was so much work to be done everywhere on earth.
Thereafter, four [twin] Heavenly Beings partook in managing the Original Music of all entities.
One who managed earth was called Hwang (Yellow), and one who managed water was called Cheong (Blue).
They each built their vaulted residences and carried out their tasks.
One who managed gi was called Baek (White) and one who managed fire was called Heuk (Black).
They each built their towered residences and carried out their tasks.
The gentes (clan-names) originated from them.
Thereupon, there was no darkness or coldness in the sky, as gi and fire counterbalanced.
There was no atrocity or deformation on earth, as water and earth corresponded.
That was because the Music Phenomenon (Eumsang) reflected and shone all the time in the above.
And because the Resonance Phenomenon (Hyangsang) leveled out hearing and listening in the below.
