(Day 5) 2019 Nine Day Mago Celebration

Day 5: The Triad or Triquettra Symbol

Have you ever thought of the origin of the triad Goddess symbolism? In light of the Magoist Cosmogony, the triad symbol is of no monolithic meaning. It is a symbol of Nine Numerology. All nine numbers are grouped in three.

The three groups of numbers are Natural Numbers 1, 4, 7, Lawful Numbers 2, 5, 8, and Physical Numbers 3, 6, 9). They form a triple helix with the third line running through the middle.

Three Groups of Numbers

The triquetra symbol inundates traditional Korea. There are too many to list. Foremost, Samsin Halmi (Triad Great Mother) is another epithets of the Mago Triad. Below is my essay on the report of the Triad Shine in Gangmun, South Korea.

Reflection points on The Triad:

  • What traid symbols are you familiar with? Or is there any culture or religion that does not involve the triad symbol?
  • What about the Mago Triad also known as Samsin Halmi (Triad Great Mother), the Birth Grandmother? To be discussed in a comparative light in Day 6.

Stay tuned for Day 6 on the Mago Triad or Samsin Halmi (Triad Grand Mother). Want to know more about the Magoist Cosmogony? Read Dr. Hwang’s The Mago Way: Re-discovering Mago, the Great Goddess from East Asia (Chapters 6, 7, and 8).
