Hello Everyone,

We are marking October 9th, the Hangul Day (Korean Alphabet Day), with Koreans! Our common interest in Korean spoken language and script, we would like to focus on the creation of Hangul (Korean Alphabets). The drama series that you are encouraged to watch and that we will have as a center of our discussion is Tree with Deep Roots or Deep Rooted Tree (the difference is based on the translation preference).
*
Our discussions will be on the usual 2nd and 4th Friday of the month
(October 13th and the 27th), at our regular time:  9am PDT, 12 EDT, 5pm UCT, 7pm EET.
*
The 1-hour-long 24 episodes were produced and aired in 2011, because of that, they are available on multiple platforms with subtitles in English and many other languages.  It isn’t available on Netflix, but it is on Amazon Prime Video. You can see it on YouTube, but each episode is divided in 3 parts.
