
We invite you to join us as an organizer and/or a presenter for the upcoming forums. Mago Academy begins a new format for the S/HE Creatrix Studies as of June 27, 2026. All forum sessions will be open to scholars and students whose interest lies under the rubric of Creatrix Studies, broadly defined. Free of charge for all participants.
When: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday monthly
Time: 120 min, TBA (depending on sessions)

Qualification: Ph.D. not required.
Topics or Themes are open insofar as they are considered salient to Creatrix Studies, broadly defined (Goddess Studies, feminist spirituality, and Pagan Studies).
If you are interested in serving as a organizer or a presenter, fill out the the organizer or instructor proposal form below (copy and pasted in Word or in the body of your email) and email it to Dr. Hwang (magoacademy@gmail.com) and/or Dr. Helen Benigni (benignih@dewv.edu).
A. Proposal Form for Organizers: You are organizing a forum of your own specialty, presenting your topic, and moderator your forum.
1. Name and contact email.
2. Biography (about100 words) and a current C.V. if you are new.
3. Desired forum date(s): Adding multiple dates are encouraged.
4. Forum title and its summary (about 150 words)
5. Forum Presenters (minimum of 2 presenters including yourself).
6. Titles and summaries of all presentations including yours (about 150 words).
7. Bios and emails of presenters (each about 100 words)
B. Proposal Form for Presenters: You are presenting your work.
- Name and contact email
- Biography (about100 words). C.V. is optional.
- Desired forum date(s): Adding multiple dates are encouraged.
- Presentation title and its summary (about 150 words)
