2026 Creatrix Studies Conference
Date: June 11-14 (Thu-Sun) PT
Venue: Zoom Meetings
The conference will take place from Noon on Thursday PT and ends at Noon Sunday PT (Pacific Time Zone USA) via Zoom meetings. All session times are marked as numbers. For example, Time 4 indicates 6-7:30 PM Thursday PT (1-2:30 AM on Friday the 13th in UTC). The World Time Converter is provided below. Table II helps converting the PT zone to Your Time Zone (YTZ).

Meet the 2026 Planning & Convening Board Members

Helen Hye-Sook Hwang, Ph.D., Executive Director
Dr. Hwang is the founder of Mago Academy and the field of Creatrix Studies. She is a born poet, student, and advocate for Life of ALL and has encountered Ceto-Magoism (the Whale-guided Way of the Creatrix) through her doctoral research on Mago, the Cosmic Mother/Creatrix. She is currently leading the Matriversal Feminist Movement together with Mago Work volunteers. Dr. Hwang received an M.A. and a Ph.D. degrees in Religion with the emphasis on Women’s Studies. To support her research on Magoism (the Way of the Creatrix), she enrolled in an M.A. program in East Asian Studies and specialized in Korean Buddhism at UCLA. Authored, edited, and published many books and essays by Mago Books and the peer-reviewed academic journal, S/HE: An International Journal of Goddess Studies, and Return to Mago E-Magazine. She is currently teaching the core and elective courses of Creatrix Studies.

Francesca Tronetti, Ph.D.
Francesca Tronetti is the volunteer curator and educator for the Lake Shore Railway Museum in North East, PA. A published poet and author, she writes articles for Return to Mago E-Magazine on ancient Goddess cultures and contemporary American Paganism. She is developing a graduate-level course on American Folk Magic Traditions of Appalachia and the Pennsylvania Dutch. Eternally busy she is focusing on turning her dissertation into an ethnographic study of a monastic pagan church. An educator at heart, she is continually discovering something new and is eager to share her knowledge with others.

Meet the 2026 Directing and Consulting Board Member

Glenys Livingstone, Ph.D.
Glenys Livingstone, Ph.D. (Social Ecology) is the author of PaGaian Cosmology: Re-inventing Earth-based Goddess Religion which is based on her doctoral research (University of Western Sydney, Social Ecology. 2002). She has been on a Goddess path since 1979, and has contributed to several anthologies, including Goddesses in World Culture (ed. Patricia Monaghan), and Goddesses in Myth, History and Culture (ed. Mary Ann Beavis and Helen Hye-Sook Hwang). She co-edited Re-visioning Medusa: from Monster to Divine Wisdom with Trista Hendren and Pat Daly. Glenys lives in Australia, where she has facilitated Seasonal ceremony for over two decades, and mentored students. She teaches a year long course on-line. Glenys’s website is http://pagaian.org/.
