Day 9: Patriarchal Attitude to the Nine Creatrix (Nine-headed Snake/Dragon slain by patriarchal heroes)
How did we forget about the Nine Creatrix? Mythologies, histories, and religions tell us how. Patriarchy has committed magna-matricide. The nine-headed snake or dragon representing the Nine Creatrix had to be slain by patriarchal heroes, rulers, and saints.
Reflection points on the Nine Creatrix Symbolism under attack in patriarchy:
- Patriarchal iconographies and myths debunk the magna-matricide of patriarchal rules and leaders: Patriarchal heroes in ancient Greece, China, Japan and beyond and patriarchal saints in Christianity and other religions slain the nine-headed snake or dragon.
- Nine Goddesses and their stories have survived patriarchal attempt to overthrow the gynocentric throne, so to speak. We, humans, are the celebration of the Nine Creatrix. Celebration has been ongoing since the beginning of our timespace! Rejoice and discern your thoughts and actions to protect the bliss of OUR LIFE!
